Extensive architectonical projects are not consistent with the goals of the Foundation. Indeed, the preferred approach of the Foundation has been the development of “models” addressed to the solution of problems relevant to the whole country. Small model projects, aiming to upgrade the appearance of historical monuments and inspire large- scale renovation, were initiated in the towns of Alotenango and Santa Catarina. In Alotenango, the project of economical model houses was also initiated.

Eventually, most of the architectonical projects initiated by the Foundation should have been implemented directly by the Municipalities.
