Authentic Development

Following Dennis Guillet, a French theoretician on human development, “Authentic Development” occurs when a good balance exists between social harmony and economic well-being. In our published reports (see Archive, Documents 6) we attempted to define authentic development in terms of two normalized indicators, F and G, that respectively describe social harmony and economic well-being. We summarize the approach for the evaluation of the F/G ratio in courses addressed to young students at the high school-college level.
